IN THE MEANTIME by Helmet From the 1992 Interscope record, 'Meantime'. I think this is pretty accurate, but I make no guarantees. I've only tabbed a line for one guitar, and I think it pretty much covers it. There may be a few parts where both guitars are playing rhythm and they diverge, but I don't really know. If you're in a band, mess around, find what sounds good. If you want Page's solos, figure them out yourself, I'm not good enough. This tab sounds good, anyway. Use lots of distortion. Chorus might sound good, too, I dunno. I don't have enough money to get fancy. It's just me, my Les Paul, and my Marshall with the gain up to 20. :} I don't make any attempt to show rhythm or timing here, that's too much trouble. Just listen to the CD or tape or whatever and pick up the rhythm. Helmet is a very tight band (they're great live), so pay close attention to the rhythm if you want it to sound good. Also, play with your palm muting, figure out what sounds best to you. Oh yeah, don't forget to use dropped-D tuning. (Tune low E string to D.) ...Continua, cliccare sotto |
